How to Import Customers into Megaphone

Importing your first batch of customers to run a Megaphone campaign can be easily done by just uploading a CSV file. In this article, we’ll show you the steps to do this.

When you’re launching your first batch of customers for a Megaphone Campaign, the easiest way to load in your customer data is with a CSV file. As you scale your campaigns, you can sync your data from your CRM or other systems into Megaphone automatically. In this article, we’ll outline how you can use our simple (yet robust) CSV Upload feature to get your customer data into Megaphone.

  • Start with a CSV Template: Download the provided CSV template and make a copy to use for your data.
  • Fill in the Data: Input the required information, such as emails, into the template.
  • Download the CSV: Once your data is complete, download the file in CSV format.
  • Import into Megafone:
    • Go to the "Customers" tab in Megafone and click the "Import" button.
    • Upload your CSV file, and the fields will automatically map if you used the provided template.
  • Review and Upload: After the mapping is complete, click "Upload Customers" to successfully import your data.
  • Launch a Campaign: Once the data is uploaded, you can select the imported people, choose a campaign, and launch it.
